The Balm: Shady Lady

Hi everyone,
Recently I've discovered a new brand in the Belgian 'drugtores'. Much to my surprise The Balm found it's way to Belgium. American brand that provides paraben and cruelty free products worldwide. I rushed my butt over to the store as soon as I could but kinda forgot to blog about them. I had my eye on that blush for a long time now. A lot of beauty guru's on youtube rave about the Fratboy blush. So there was no doubt about it that that baby would find a new home when I saw it lying on the shelf. Review of that will follow soon.

The other thing I had my eye on was the Nude Tude eyeshadow palette. But when seeing it in the store it looked to much like all the other eyeshadows I already own, so I couldn't justifie buying that. But the makeup hoarder collector in me couldn't walk out with only that blush though.. So the Shady Lady happened.

I've been loving me some sparkle lately and I thought I should share that, cause frankly who doesn't like sparkle?!

I'm wearing OPI's 'My Pimped Out Wonderland' (from the Astrid Bryan collection for OPI) and my newest Essie polish 'A cut above' (limited edition).

Lots of love.

Crocodile

Hi there,

It's been some time since we last posted, maybe there are still some lost souls wandering around on this blog, if so I have a really funky DIY for you to make!

So earlier this week I was planning my outfit for a party and my outfit was quite basic white on white, I wanted to pimp it up a bit with really fancy earrings but I couldn't seem to find the right ones.
I looked trough my stuff and found a bunch of beads, green, white. And then it came all back, the memories of me making little crocodiles in pearls when I was a toddler.

And I just decided to go for it (I was lucky i still had a lot of time before going out)
There actually really are a lot of tutorials on how to make crocodiles on the Internet, here you have some sites i looked at for making mines
: This one  and this one It's actually really simple once you get the trick!

After making them you just have to attach an ear wire with a loop or whatever we call them and you're done! Here some pics of the final result!
( it's really cool when you have green eyes, cause it just make them look brighter. Or if you kind of an exotic jungle look ^^ And just one final hint, when you start take a really long thread, i didn't had enough of it for my firs croco so I had to start again)

Cheers!!

London after Christmas: Part two

Hi everyone,
Here's part to of my London haul. Let's hop right in :)

After going to Gap we went to Topshop. I was looking for a hat i had seen before but couldn't find it anywhere. Anyway, I went through the rest of the store and found a really nice pair of paint is the sale section. I had been on the hunt for a sort of oxblood colored pair of pants and found exactly what I was looking for.
The picture doesn't really do the color of the pants justice but that's the best I could do with the lighting at that time.

London after Christmas

Hi everyone,
I know it's been a while since our last blog.
Well, I needed a little break and the holiday time seemed very great timing.
I'm back again and I'm going to try to work out a plan to have up at least 4 blog post a week.
Let's say I'll try to put on up every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. If I miss a day feel free to call me out on it! :) But I promise to do my very best not to let you guys down again! :)

So to begin blogging again I thought I would start by sharing what I bought in London with you all.
My parents surprised me and my brother with a surprise trip to London right after Christmas.
The day we left home and arrived in London was the first day of the sales in England, called Boxing day. All the stores start there huge sales and they last for a certain amount of time, (a month? I'm not sure). Anyway, here is an overview of what I bought.
